Procedural Design with Houdini Engine
Houdini Engine allows for the creation of 3D assets through procedural modeling. This technique of asset creation can aid in the development of small to large content for game worlds, while maintaining quality and consistency in design. The approach to this type of asset creation relies on a strong understanding of the technology and the construction of modeling by breaking down the processes to its fundamentals. This session gives an overview of the design process of using a procedural workflow that combines modeling, materials and shader creation to create a fast, efficient and consistent pipeline. Attendees will have experience a compact demonstration of using Houdini, Houdini Engine, Substance Designer and Unity Shader Graph to create flexible and reusable assets.
